Commissioning & Testing

Type BA Device - Verifiable Backflow Preventer with Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ Valve).

At Jordan Environmental Ltd we have technicians whom are trained and certified as accredited testers to carry out installation, commissioning and testing in accordance with the industries required standards as detailed below.

It is a requirement that Type BA Device/RPZ valves are installed using the Approved Installation Method (AIM) as set out by the WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) AIM-08-01, this applies to both new installations and the replacement of existing valves.

As an Accredited Tester Jordan Environmental Ltd  are able to carry out the commissioning and testing of RPZ valves.  WRAS requirements are such that this must be carried out at least annually by an accredited tester.  The accredited tester would complete the required certification in accordance with WRAS onsite testing and maintenance requirements.
